Mr. D. Alexakis was born in Athens. He graduated from the medical school of
Thessaloniki (AUTh). He dealt early with sports injuries and arthroscopic surgery.(ΚΑΤ Sports Injury Clinic)
He was a consultant in several football and basketball teams (team
physician).
In recent years he is Director of the Orthopedic Department -
Sports Injury Clinic at the Euroclinic of Athens and scientific
collaborator of the Hygeia Group, Medical Center of Athens, Henry Dunant, Athinaiki
MediClinic.
Most part of his practice concerns arthroscopic surgery of large joints (shoulder,
knee, etc.)
He is member of the Hellenic Orthopedic Society (EEXOT), the Hellenic
Arthroscopic Society, the European Arthroscopic Society and
(Gremcip) minimally invasive foot surgery.
