The purpose of the Association is the development and promotion of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Sports Injuries on a clinical, educational and research level.

Specifically, amongst the intentions of the association are:

• The development of continuous educational and training programs for its members.
• The development of close relationships between Hellenic medical professionals who are dealing with Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Sports Injuries.
• The development of the field of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Sports Injuries aiming to the improvement of health status and health care of all individuals on the Hellenic territory.
• The development and promotion of scientific relations with other world, European or national associations with similar orientation.
