Dr Frantzeska Zampeli is Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Accident & Emergency Department, General Hospital of Attica “KAT”, Kifisia, Athens, Greece. She received specialized upper limb training at the Hand, Upper limb and Microsurgery Department, “KAT” Hospital. She did fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow surgery with Prof R. Hertel (Shoulder and Elbow Center, Lindenhof Hospital, Bern, Switzerland), with Prof P. Habermeyer and his associates Prof M. Tauber, and Assoc Prof F. Martetschläger (Department of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, ATOS Clinic, Munich, Germany), and with Dr P.Valenti (Paris Shoulder Unit, Institut de la Main, Clinique BIZET, Paris, France). She also did fellowship in Hand and Wrist surgery at Institut de la Main, Clinique BIZET, Paris, France with Prof C. Mathoulin and Dr C.Leclercq and their associates. She is member of ESSKA, ESA, and SECEC/ESSSE. She has 34 publications in Pubmed indexed journals (567 citations, h-index 12), 7 chapters in textbooks, 11 awards, and more than 100 scientific presentations at national and international meetings.
