A consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon since 2010, Mr Paliobeis undertook several distinguished UK Fellowships in Trauma, Musculoskeletal Oncology, Knee Surgery and Hip Surgery / Hip Arthroscopy.
Mr. Paliobeis completed his Orthopaedic Training in Athens. Following his Fellowships, he became a Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, and finally at the County Hospital in Hereford, where he has been since 2012.
Mr Paliobeis’ elective practice is mainly devoted to the treatment of problems of the hip and knee. The majority of his practice involves hip & knee arthroscopy, hip & knee replacement and revision surgery. Mr. Paliobeis has a keen interest in hip preservation and minimally invasive surgery. Following his postgraduate degree in MSK ultrasound he has pioneered an outpatient hip injections’ service.
Mr Paliobeis maintains a keen interest in teaching, research and publishing in his areas of interest. Author of the chapter on hip arthroscopy in the Textbook of the European Federation of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EBOT), he takes pride particularly in his work on the faculty for a renowned international hip arthroscopy course for surgeons and in his work as reviewer for the Bone & Joint Journal and the Journal of Hip Preservation Surgery.
