Born 05.09.1963 in Athens, Greece.
Studied Human Medicine in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1981-1987).
After army and publich health duty, specialty training in orthopedic surgery in the Orthopedic Department of the University of Athens (1991-1995).

PhD thesis presented in 1996. From 1998 to 1999, Clinical and Research Fellow in Knee- and Foot surgery, Sports Traumatology and Arthroscopy in ATOS-Clinic, Heidelberg. From 2000 up to 2004, consultant in Knee- and Foot surgery, Sports Traumatology and Arthroscopy in ATOS-Clinic, Heidelberg (Prof. H.H. Paessler, Prof H. Thermann). Since 2004, Assistant Professor in Orthopedics in the 1st Department of Orthopedics of the University of Athens (Gen. Univ. Hospital ATTIKO). Published over 40 scientific papers, gave more than 200 lectures and presentations in national and international congresses and is member in 5 scientific societies (ESSKA, ISAKOS and ACL Study Group,e.t.c).
